My results to the Entrepreneur test

1) creative tendency (9 out of 12 points): Indeed I am quite imaginative (I love creating objects, clothes and i love drawing), very daydreamer, curious about many different things, I have often a lot of ideas going through my mind and I really enjoy new challenges. Then I often act following my intuition but I don't always like changes, that often makes me nostalgic.
2) Need for autonomy (average points): I like working alone and do my "own things", I also like doing unconventional things ( I try not to pay too much attention to other people opinion) and I definitely don't like taking orders.
3) Moderate risk taking (average points): I like to take fast decisions so that implies to act on incomplete data, I set attaible goals but I sometimes tend to be a little too ambitious.
4) Drive and determination (average points): I completely believe in the "you are what you want to be" philosophy and I don't like fatality, I believe that with efforts you can achieve what you want.
5) Need for achievement (under the average): I am quite result oriented but I often tend to prefer to satisfy people with who I work. Nevertheless, I am very optimistic and persistent. Furthermore, I am very energetic when I manage a project but I also enjoy free time, just to be with myself and think.

→ I agree quite well with those results!

My talents and weaknesses to be an entrepreneur
Talents: passionated in everything I do, I also see life as something too short to be wasted in a routine activity. I am also risk taking, very independant and determined.

Weaknesses:stubborn, versatile.

Relevant websites for an upcoming entrepreneur
http://www.auto-entrepreneur.fr/ → here you will find all the necessary information to start your business as an auto-entrepreneur: to who this status is aimed, which paper to fill in, the fiscal advantages...
This status is very well appropriated for students who wants to start their own business besides their studies.

www.apce.com → website of the "agence pour la création d'entreprise". You will find all the advices to create your own business, from how to get the idea, to the organisation you need to apply, how you can get funds and stories of real entrepreneurs.
I really like this one because it is really complete and very optimistic (it says that every one can start it's own business!) and the website is really well built, you can find easily the answers to your question. And very important, it is adapted to any profile or any type of business!

My vision of an entrepreneur

external image entrepreneur-_2.jpg(picture from Bing)

An entrepreneur has the same euphoria as a child who realizes he can make money by himself, by putting in practice his own idea.

The story of the entrepreneur through my pictures
1) The idea
When you start a business you are often quite lost. You often have many opportunities and you don't know which one to chose.
I have chosen a picture of someone in an airport. Like in an airport, where you can chose to go anywhere you want, an entrepreneur can take many different ways, it only depends on his choice. It is also the idea of being alone in this crowded place, it is an allegory of the entrepreneur processing alone in the world.

2) The vision
But then comes a time when you have a clear vision of where you want to go, what your business should clearly be and you really believe in your project. You finaly see the horizon!

Trendwatching

ecoeasy.JPG

The trend: Make products and processes more sustainable without consumers noticing it. The brand shouldn't leave the room for consumers to opt for less sustainable products.
Ex: green buildings, ban of plastic bags.

How to apply it for my business? : My brand produces tshirts of 100% organic cotton. The idea is to mix in the same product fashion and sustainable consumption, that is to say something associated with fun, and pleasure (fashion) with something that has become a necessary duty (buying sustainable). "Eco-easy" means that people want to buy eco-friendly but having fun doing it, and fashion is the perfect way to handle this trend.

The trend: in mature consumer societies, audiences no longeur tolerate being treated like yesterday's uninformed, easily shocked and inexperienced consumers. Now the brand can profit from beingopinionated and risqué, and move with the culture.
Ex: American apparel tshirts, the "sex pistols" ice cream from Icecreamists.

How to apply it for my business
: we want to create tshirts with controversial messages or photos coming from old movies. We want to explore the niche of fashion mixed with eco-business but also CULTURE. I think today, the controversial is on the contrary to be wise and literate.
